Scenes from the opening of Postcards Stories last November, 2025. Grateful to all who joined us; who came through to raise a drink, shared dumplings and some stories — a joyful evening shaped by conversations on ratio and printed matter. Miniature postcards are chunky little things: tiny treasures that rattle around in your bag. A miniature is, simply, anything that fits in the palm of your hand.
Words and images have always been carried close to our bodies. Since the invention of the printing press, poetry, prayer and philosophy have all found their way into our pockets. These ‘one-hand’, miniature or thumb posters are intimate objects that force us to pay attention to the tiniest of details: the bend of a page; the width of a line; the heft of a spine. They tell us the printed object is defined by tactility and technicalities. With eccentric proportions, these postcards stories revive why we read. In this pop-up event, Exlibris Practice has arranged a miniature of  image /text- and graphics  from her collection of body work that produce in collaboration  with designers, artist and collectives in the '2025 year' collaborative studio projects.
